Welcome to Family Pet

Our Story

Family Pet has been In business for over 50 years, serving all of the Hampton Roads VA and North Carolina communities. Family Pet is licensed and insured and is your one-stop source for puppies, kittens, birds, and small pets (hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits). Not only do we carry pets, we also carry supplies and food.

All of our puppies and kittens are vet checked by a local vet located right here in Chesapeake.  We also receive unannounced inspections by VDACS yearly and  Chesapeake Animal Controls periodically.

We have financing programs and we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also have 10% discounts for military and first responders.
